The basic units of the Department of Computer Science are eleven chairs and five central units. The responsibility for teaching and research is in the hands of the chairs. Furthermore, some central units have been established who manage the department, the IT-infrastructure, and dedicated laboratories.
The interests of the students are represented by the Students’ Representative Body.
When necessary, task forces are founded to deal with specific topics.
Furthermore, the Department is linked together with a number of other scientific institutions and cultivates a close co-operation.
