Since its foundation in 1972, more than 3 500 graduates of the Department of Computer Science at the TU Dortmund have started a professional career and many former employees have changed to positions outside the department. This was a good reason to launch the Alumni Association of Computer Science Dortmund e. V. in 2005.

Alumni of Computer Science Dortmund e. V. is an association of

• former students,
• former employees and
• friends

of the Department of Computer Science at TU Dortmund.

Alumni of Computer Science Dortmund e. V. intends

• to assist alumna of the department to get in contact and to keep in touch,
• to foster contacts and co-operations between alumni and department,
• to create and encourage a network of mutual support among alumni and between alumni and the department.
